We are pleased to announce that version 2 of the lending protocol (testnet) is ready. Users can now interact with the lending protocol to receive airdrop on their wallet. The testnet website is V2.egoras.com. We apologise that the launching of the lending protocol is coming later than earlier announced. We thank our users and community for their patient and continued understanding.
In line with our vision and commitment, please note that the Egoras token (EGR) and IFX24 token (IFX24) will be listed on Uniswap on or before Monday, 17 August 2020. We expect the bounty distribution to happen on or before the same day. Users who provide liquidity for any of these tokens, that is EGR and/or IFX24, on the platform will be duly rewarded with IFX24 tokens.
How the token economy works
EGR will be used for the governance of the loans, which means EGR holders receive ETH reward for their activities on the lending protocol. On the other hand, IFX24 is the utility token, which means microfinance institutions and NGOs lock up IFX24 before their loans can be uploaded on the governance protocol.
