Security Incident:

On February 15, 2024, at 08:27:55 AM UTC, a security breach compromised Egodao on the Binance Smart Chain. Approximately 650EGC was stolen by the attackers. Immediate action was taken by contacting MEXC, a cryptocurrency exchange, to freeze the deposit address. MEXC responded swiftly, preventing the hackers from depositing and utilizing the stolen funds. This successful intervention rendered the stolen EGC unsellable on any exchange.

Egominibus Upgrade:

Egodao has undergone a significant upgrade. The project has transitioned to a physically backed ERC-404 token on a new blockchain called Egochain. This new token, named “Egominibus,” retains the original ticker symbol “EGC.” Importantly, each EGC token can now be redeemed for one electric mini bus.

Token Swap:

The transition to Egominibus will involve a 1:1 swap of existing EGC tokens. The chosen exchange will facilitate this process seamlessly for all EGC holders.

New Contract Address:

The official Egominibus contract address on Egochain is available for public viewing on egoscan.io: https://egoscan.io/address/0x16eB0dd82942F6e42b9B21f7EE15DDC735831Db9

Future Plans:

The Egodao team is actively pursuing a listing on a new tier-two exchange within the next 45 days. Additionally, liquidity will be added to the Automated Market Maker (AMM) on Egochain.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support.
